TAKE OUR DAUGHTERS TO WORK DAY
EASE PATCH
GSWP’s EASE patch was created for girl’s in grades 6-12 to stimulate interest in career awareness. Because we feel career exploration is important we have combined Take Your Daughter to Work Day with Explore, Act, Serve, and Experience. (EASE)
Requirements
Level 1- Explore
Start to become aware of the world of work. Participate in Take Your Daughter to Work Day with a parent, relative, or friend. Write a summary of your experience answering the following questions:
- What does this work place want to accomplish? What are their goals?
- What types of jobs are being done at this workplace and how do they relate to the goals above?
- List the skills, and characteristics needed for the different job positions at this workplace.
- Explain what you liked or didn’t like about the jobs at this workplace.
- What type of job would interest you most right now?
Please attach these summaries to your request for GSWP’s EASE patch. For information on levels 2-4 contact the council office.
