Dear Parents and Troop Leaders of Gold and Silver Honorees:
On Sunday, June 6 at 3 PM, your daughter or a girl from your troop will be honored at our annual Gold and Silver Award Ceremony in Scarsdale/Edgemont. This is a very special event traditionally done by parents and leaders of honorees.
Place: Betty Taubert Girl Scout House

NEW GUILDELINES - GOLD AWARDS
Beginning March 2010, Gold Award requirements will change.

In July 2009, new guidelines were released for Girl Scouts Highest Awards - the Bronze, Silver & Gold Awards. You can choose to use either the new guidelines or to use the previous guidelines to earn your award during the transition period of July 2009 through September 2011. It is suggested that girls just beginning to work on their Gold or Silver requirements after March 2010 use the new requirements. Either way, keep careful track of your dates and stay closely in touch to your Girl Scout community advisors.

The Scarsdale/Edgemont Gold and Silver Award Ceremony will be held at the Betty Taubert Girl Scout House, Scarsdale on June 6, 2010 at 3 PM. If you receive your Gold or Silver Award prior to May 15, 2010 please contact Mary Ellis so you can be included as an honoree.
