OPERATION COOKIE DROP

Operation Cookie Drop 2008 is confirmed:

Saturday, June 14th at the NY State Armory on 9A in Valhalla.

2-3 trucks coming, with ten sailors,. Police traffic control courtesy of County Ex. Andy Spano.

Possible film crew coming with Navy for girls to record messages to the sailors, soldiers who will be getting the cookies.

Please let me know if your troop has not checked in with cookies to be donated to Operation Cookie Drop.  Count is at 25,000 at this point.



My guess the timing is anything after 8:30AM-noon.
Someone will be there from 8 AM onward.  With ten more sailors, we should make faster work of the packing this year.
Girl Scout troops can come and help unload cars, sticker the cases, put cards, letters in the cases, help load the trucks.
I would suggest vests for the girls as there will be plenty of press there. Also bring water for your girls.
